Join us for a Prayer Breakfast in Pittsburgh

Equality PA is gathering faith leaders to talk about how people of faith and faith leaders can support nondiscrimination and we hope that you can join us and invite your clergy person!

Here are the details:

Monday, February 16  from 8:00 am – 10:00 am
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church 1965 Ferguson Rd, Allison Park, PA

Please RSVP here: bit.ly/DiscriminationPrayerBreakfast

The focus of our breakfast will be to raise awareness that discrimination is still a legal reality in Pennsylvania. We implore faith communities to have a voice on this as discrimination of any kind is very much a moral and spiritual issue.

Breakfast will include coffee, tea, juice, eggs, bacon, rolls, and fruit. (Kosher meals upon request.) Breakfast and fellowship starts at 8:00am and the program will begin at 8:30am. Clergy and lay people invited free of charge!

Our speakers will include:

  • Rev. Dr. Steven Tuell, James A. Kelso Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary
  • Ammon Ripple, MDiv, Faith Organizer, Equality Pennsylvania
  • Rev. Shanea D. Leonard, Moderator, Pittsburgh Faith Consortium Pastor, JUDAH Fellowship Christian Church
  • Rev. Patrice Fowler-Searcy, Director of Mission Ministries East Liberty Presbyterian Church
  • Rabbi Aaron Bisno, Senior Rabbi Rodef Shalom Congregation
  • Rep. Dan Frankel, Co-Chair, LGBT Equality Caucus Pennsylvania House of Representatives

As we continue our work to show that #DiscriminationExists, we hope you will join us to be sure that voices of faith are heard on this issue.
