Christian Rock singer Trey Pearson is coming to Philadelphia this Sunday to ask you to vote. Why? Because after years of “trying to make himself straight,” he came out of the closet. The pressure on him to stay closeted as a nationally successful Christian recording artist was strong, but the call to live his truth was stronger. We are fortunate enough to live in a country where we currently have the freedom to be out. But that freedom is at stake in this election.
